As you land in to Candy Crush level 149 in the Gingerbread Glade episode, you will find that if you do not get rid of the row of chocolate on top as soon as you can, you will be terminated at this level very soon as the chocolates keep replicating themselves and block the entrance for candies to drop down. So you really should make your top priority to stop the chocolates from ruin your game within the first few moves. The key to beat this level is using vertical striped candy as much as you can, and wherever possible where it can be, so that there will be an open space or a path way for candies to move through. Once the chocolates are well taken care of, start your collection by doing the wrapped + wrapped first, because it will be the hardest to collect for this level. Another key to note is that you do not need to put too much focus on the blue candies as it could happened to be a collection that happens naturally while you are doing other tasks, as the number of these candies are quite a lot and can be easily found across the board.

Level 148 must passed in order to play Level 149. This is a level where you are required to collect 1 wrapped+wrapped candy, 10 striped candy and 99 blue candies in 35 moves while score at least 30000 points in the process. The main concern is to get rid of the chocolate first, then only work on to collect the candies as required. The reward for Level 149 is to go to Level 150.
